Alissa is a graduate of PRANA Yoga + Wellbeing’s first Advanced Study Program cohort and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). She has been practicing yoga asana since she was introduced to the Hot 26 style in 2014, though she has been using pranayama and breath work since high school to help cope with anxiety. Alissa has a doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS). She hopes to combine her passion for yoga and brain injury recovery to create an adaptive yoga program. In each class she teaches, Alissa strives to make yoga accessible for every body.
