Yoga Philosophy

  • PRANA Yoga + Wellbeing Castro Valley, CA USA (map)

It's that time of year when we devote the last 10 weeks of the year to reflect on character building and to examine areas for growth.

Loving Kindness, Self-study, Truthfulness, Discipline--these are a few of the ethical principles that create the foundation for yoga, which stem from yoga philosophy.

If you want to learn more about living skillfully by using the ethical framework of yoga, please join us for a 3-hour workshop on the Yamas and Niyamas, the first two limbs of yoga. Led by April Oquenda.

We hope you'll join us for the annual workshop on the Yamas and Niyamas, the ethical precepts of yoga, including loving kindness, self-study, truthfulness, and discipline. These are a few of the ethical principles that create the foundation for yoga, stemming from yoga philosophy.

This is an interactive and experiential workshop. We'll discuss the philosophical principles, participate in a yoga sequences that are designed to cultivate reflection, and then workshop through journaling and sharing.
